OW Third through Eighth Grade Students
Each day students should complete the assignments listed for that day's date to keep on target for the semester. Students should also complete their corrections as they are assigned. By the end of the week parents should see that their child has completed all the lessons for the week. The due date is clearly listed in the left hand column next to each assignment. If the work for the week has not been completed, the student/parents should treat this as assigned homework to be completed over the weekend to get back on target. To avoid falling behind your child needs to keep current on his daily work. There should not be any overdue notices. Remember points can be deducted for late work.
OW Projects and Experiments: These should be completed in order according to the due dates. The order can be viewed from the Courses tab by clicking on the current unit of the subject the student is working in and looking through the listed assignments. Check the Status column along with the Due Date column.
OW Review: Students should review their graded work before moving on to the next lesson or subject. The review will help the student learn the correct information before moving on in the course. Each review is a learning opportunity!
K-12/Fuel Ed for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade: Students should complete their daily assignments and regularly progress through their lessons. Students who are on target will have completed approximately 20 percent of their lessons by the end of the first quarter. At the end of the first semester students should complete the first semester assessments and/or check points before Christmas break. For those courses without the checkpoints, the student should be close to the half-way mark in each course.
Log Information: See the FORMS tab to read more about Student Log requirements.
